Baltic birch 4' x 8'

Also called multi-layer plywood or baltic birch plywood includes more sheets (or layers), that are also thinner than traditional plywood. The multi-layer plywood is made entirely of birch which is a hardwood. These characteristics give it strong rigidity and excellent stability.

B/BB grade means : single piece face and back veneer. Face veneers are considered clear and free of defects with a light-uniform color. Back allows 3-6 color matched patches, which are oval in shape and egg sized. Inner cores are solid birch single piece veneers.

BB/CP grade means that one side is "visible quality" as the other one is "non-visible quality". This side will have some visible but repaired imperfections.

It is a material most appropriate to make furniture, shelves, jigs, and all kinds of items requiring intensive use. Baltic birch plywood is therefore of superior quality and is much more rigid than traditional plywood which is usually composed of softwood leaves (such as spruce, poplar, pine or fir).

The baltic birch comes from northern Europe or the Baltic countries.
