Blocs d'amarante
Purpleheart, also called Amaranth (scientific name: Peltogyne pubescens) is recognized for its unique color with purple and violet variances when freshly cut and which varies over time to an elegant purple/dark brown color. Coming from Central and South America, Amaranth is a very dense and durable wood.
Amarante is mainly used for carpentry, DIY, turning, parquet floors. It is sometimes found paired with other wood species in order to find a marked effect of color contrast. Its high resistance makes it suitable even for heavy construction such as bridges, structures.
Amarante blocks are perfect for filming, decorative design, or furniture.
