Garapa is an exotic, dense and high quality wood from Brazil. Its color varies from yellowish beige to caramel brown with a regular veining. Over time, the color of Garapa will darken towards a beautiful amber hue. This wood is ideal for decking (terrace floor), exterior constructions as well as around swimming pools because of its high resistance and low maintenance. This wood adapts very well to harsh climates with large temperature differences and remains stable. Garapa is a wood that naturally resists attack by fungi, insects and mold. Thanks to its high density, it resists surface scratches well, thus preserving a smooth surface for several years. The lifespan of a Garapa terrace can reach more than 25 years.
