Monocoat Easy Solo Oil

Easy Solo natural oil provides an excellent resistance to abrasion and creates no surface film. Thanks to its penetrating capacity, Easy Solo nourishes the wood and protects it against water marks and stains. With Easy Solo, you can easily touch up anytime without sanding or stripping to refresh the finish.

It is perfect for floors, furniture, kitchen cabinets, counter tops, kitchen islands, interior doors and windows, woodwork, walls and ceilings.

It enhances the grain of the wood, protects it from premature wear, water and stains. You could do all your interior wood surfaces with only this product, then save time, money and be able to enjoy them faster.

Due to its high solid composition (up to 70% natural oils and resins), Easy Solo will offer a durability that is equal to old generation products that need two or three coats. Used to protect hard surfaces, it can be easily applied to all types of soft, hard and exotic woods.

PREPARATION:

The surface must be clean and free of wax and varnish residue. Make sure the product is at room temperature before application.

Mix before applying. Sand wood with 100-120 grit sandpaper. Remove dust with a clean, dry, white rags. Keep Easy Solo at a temperature above 15 °C.

For high-density wood, such as maple or exotic woods, moisten with a clean floor mop or damp white rags. When surface is completely dry (about 2 hours), sand gently with 220 grit sandpaper to break down the wood’s fibre. Remove dust meticulously.

APPLICATION:

Apply a thin coat with a white rag or an application pad for furniture and a pad painter for the floor. Spread Easy Solo well to avoid increased thickness. After 5 to 10 minutes maximum, with the help of a clean, dry, white rag, scrub along the wood grain to help oil penetration and eliminate any excess.

Optional – To soften the surface and increase luster, polish with a white nylon pad about 60 to 90 minutes after application.

• After 24 hours: moderate and careful use;
• After 5-7 days: regular use;
• After 10 days: maintenance with LIGNA products.

NUMBER OF COATS:

Only one coat is required. However, two coats will increase lustre and the colour by 20%.

Wait 24h for a second coat.

WARNING: On low density woods such as pine, we recommend two coats to seal the wood correctly.

COVERAGE:

200 to 500 sq. ft./litre depending on wood type.

MAINTENANCE:

Wait 10 to 15 days for the surface to be well sealed before it comes into contact with water.

REFRESHMENT COAT:

Add a thin coat of oil after:

• Floor: 3 to 7 years;
• Low demand surfaces such as mouldings, walls and furniture: 7 to 15 years.

COMPOSITION:

70% vegetal products; Safflower oil, abrasive oil, linseed oil, vegetal waxes, minerals solvent and siccative.

VOCs:

As it spread only 244 g of volatile organic compounds (VOCs) per litre and is a single-coat product, EASY SOLO releases 3 to 8 times less VOCs than the competing products applicable in two to three coats.

FINISH:

Matte satin.

CONSERVATION:

From 2 to 3 years in an airtight container stored in a dry and cool place.
