A.C.Q. Treated Lumber Steps and String boards

A.C.Q. (alkaline, copper, quaternary) is a wood subjected to an ecological treatment under pressure without arsenic, offering you all the strength and durability necessary to manufacture the framework of your exterior landscaping. The preservatives used in our treated wood provide additional protection against fungi and insect attack and help extend the life of the wood. Our treated wood is now brown in color due to a stain added by our supplier. This treated wood will perfectly match your landscaping.

Designed for 10-1/2" steps with a 8" tread (depth).

It can be dyed with a high quality dye like Sansin DEC for example.

The pressure treatment used on our treated wood allows a deeper penetration of the preservative thus increasing its resistance to degradation and prolonging its life. Treated lumber can be used for wood structures like decks, fences, gazebos, playground equipment, docks, as well as many other outdoor projects.

It is not recommended to use treated wood for places where it will be in permanent contact with drinking water, if it can become a component of a food (in the case of a beehive for example) or in the compost. Several sizes available.
