African Mahogany (Khaya) - Rough
The color of African mahogany is variable, ranging from a very pale pink to a darker reddish brown. Occasionally, there are also fine streaks of a medium to dark reddish brown. With age, the color of the wood tends to darken. The grain is straight to interlocking, with a medium to coarse texture. African mahogany has a good natural luster with a light refracting optical phenomenon called chatoyancy.
It is easy to work, glue and finish.
The African mahogany panels with particle core is veneered on 2 sides and grade A / 1. We thus obtain a side of superior quality and a side, of very high quality.
